Language Learning Strategies: A Study of Teacher and Learner Perceptions

Along with the theories of language teaching and learning, theories on language learning strategies (LLS) have recently been of key interest in the field of language education. This article tries to relate these LLS with the contemporary eclectic trend in language education and aims to discover the LLS that individual learners use to facilitate their own learning. And based on a survey, it also shows a disarray of teachers' perception of the learners' use of LLS.
